FUNDRAISING AT THE STAR CINEMA

The Star Cinema, situated in the grand Eaglehawk Town Hall, is a community operated independent cinema, screening art house and mainstream cinema releases. The Cinema has an established commitment to supporting the local community through fundraising film events.

In addition to the Star's renowned cosy atmosphere with its vibrant crimson couches, the Cinema has a proven commitment to providing central Victorians with great films. These elements have proven to be a winning combination in offering a unique fundraising experience for a whole range of organisations. If your group is keen to raise funds, a movie night at the Star is a great way of getting people together for a specific cause whilst enjoying a great night out.

Wherever possible, the management at the Star are happy to work together with organisations and interest groups in order to match a film to a specific fundraiser event. Whether you wish to educate your audience on a particular issue, or simply provide them with a fabulous night's entertainment, the Star will assist in ensuring your night is a success.

Attending a fundraising event is also a wonderful way to see a great film whilst at the same time contributing to a community group or worthy cause.
