We are thrilled to announce that we now offer access to a compact audio receiver with a plug-in head set to patrons at all our sessions (subject to availability).

This offers an amplified audio experience for patrons who are hard of hearing. Some sessions will also offer an audio commentary via the same equipment to patrons who are blind or have low vision. Contact us for more information.

Sets are currently limited, so bookings in advance are highly recommended. You are welcome to use your own headset with a standard headphone plug.

MARILYN'S BIRTHDAY DOUBLE FEATURE
Ladies of the Chorus & River of No Return

Marilyn would have turned 90 on June 1 this year, and to celebrate we’re screening two very special titles back to back.

LADIES OF THE CHORUS (G, 1948, 60min) sees Marilyn in her very first starring role, as a burlesque queen who follows in her mother’s footsteps when she falls in love with a wealthy socialite.

RIVER OF NO RETURN (PG, 1954, 90min) sees Marilyn as Kay, abandoned in the Northwest wilderness with Matt (Robert Mitchum) and his young son as they face a host of untold dangers, including a perilous journey down a raging river.

Monet was an avid horticulturist and arguably the most important painter of gardens in the history of art but he was not alone. Artists like Van Gogh, Bonnard, Pissarro and Matisse all saw the garden as a powerful subject for their art. These great artists, along with many other famous names, feature in an innovative exhibition from The Royal Academy.
