Join us at the Star Cinema
for a week long festival of
Tibetan events, food and
film. It’s a feast for the
senses!
Observe the incredible
installation of a sand mandala by visiting Tibetan monks,
delight in Tibetan dance displays, enjoy a light lunch or
dinner, and view one of the themed films selected for the
festival. With a pet blessing by the monks on Sunday 30,
through to the dissolution of the mandala ceremony on
Thursday September 4, there’s something for everyone.
Special events are also scheduled prior to evening film
screenings.
Throughout each day of the festival, chai will be available
and traditional Tibet khapse for just $5. A light lunch will
be served between 12 and 2pm daily for $7. Dinner and
film bookings are now being taken for each night of the
festival. Tickets are $35 and include dinner and a film. Film
screenings only tickets $15.
